Mariah K. Hamang is a queer American poet, pagan, leftist, and mental health advocate currently residing in Chicago, IL. They received their B.A. in English from Indiana University Northwest (2012) and M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Colorado (2014). Their work has been published in Otoliths, BlazeVOX, Catahoula, and other journals. Their two pampered cats are named Nazlım and Tuğba, in honor of Turkey’s notorious street cats and all the dear memories there.
