Tanya Batt
Storyteller
Tanya Batt is a seed sower, a word warbler and story stitcher who channelled her childhood propensity for talking and her love of growing things into a real ‘imaginary job’.
Her home is on the Awaawaroa Bay Eco Village on Waiheke Island, Aotearoa, New Zealand. Stories have kept her curious, putting food on her table, a roof over her head and enabled her to travel the world and share her mahi for more than thirty years. She is the creative director of the ‘Once Upon An Island Charitable Trust’ that uses storytelling for community building, environmental and cultural education.
