Unconventionally Wired

by Elle Parsons

Poetry

Performance poet Elle Parsons’ vibrant and eclectic debut collection.

Performance poetry is written to be spoken aloud and acted out before a live audience, where the voice, body movements, and delivery are part of the composition. Unlike poetry meant to be read quietly from a book, performance poetry relies on sound, rhythm, emotion and stage presence.

The cover image is a collage by Elle, showing a Fort in Delhi, India and portraying the unconventional brain. The chaoticness is symbolised by the jigsaw pieces and wire on the right side, while the sunflowers and a blue sky on the left side, symbolise normality.

I hope you enjoy the journey of reading my poetry  as much I have enjoyed crafting it. Elle
